    This Plan is structured around New Mexico Energy Transition Act (ETA) which sets a statewide renewable energy standard of a 50% renewable portfolio by 2030 for NM investor-owned utilities and rural electric cooperatives and a requirements of an 80% renewable portfolio by 2040. Additionally, it sets a zero-carbon resources standard for IOUs by 2045 and rural electric cooperatives by 2050.
